Dura Products is a Canadian company. We are a fully owned subsidiary of Wilson Supply, a division of Smith International Incorporated. Dura Products has been in operation since 1981.

Our head office and modern 21,000 square foot manufacturing plant is located in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Dura offers a complete range of conventional bottom hole pumps as well as a wide range of production accessories. Please see our Products page for more details.

Materials

Dura manufactures in a wide range of materials, from high strength low alloy steels through to a variety of corrosion resistant alloys. We also provide a number of surface treatments and coatings to enhance wear resistance and/or corrosion resistance.

Dura has access to extensive engineering resources and we are always interested in working with our customers to provide the correct material for their application.

Manufacturing

The plant is equipped with modern CNC controlled machining centres and includes computer controlled centreless grinding capabilities. We also provide hard-facing processes to protect components subject to abrasive wear.

We have fully trained machinists and tradesmen and in addition promote our own apprentice training program.

Quality Assurance

Dura Products has a highly effective Quality System – in addition to our API 11AX and API 11B certifications, we are also certified to API Q1 & ISO 9001:2001.

All our products are fully traceable and inspected to rigorous standards.

Inventory Management

At Dura we use advanced MRP software in combination with highly developed forecasting algorithms to ensure optimum product availability to our customers.

We are very proud to be able to say that as we have grown our business in recent years, we have progressively improved delivery performance to our customers and reduced our backlog to historically low levels.
